Who I am

Hello, I’m A!

I have lived in Fort St. John all my life and I am honoured to be joining the North Peace Pride Society for my first year as a board member. My father has been a very outspoken ally for the LGBTQ+ community in Fort St. John for the past several decades and seeing the drastic changes and improvements that have been made in our community throughout my lifetime is inspiring. This hope for an accepting and unified community that I can be proud of has led me to join the Society.

In my professional life I am a Community Advisor for Strategies North Advisory Inc. and prior to that I obtained a degree in Canadian History from the University of Victoria. My career allows me to work with Indigenous Communities across Canada to help build their capacity and achieve their goals. This has further stoked my passion for community building and positive change.
